As the name suggests, chakra idly rava is used to prepare dough for South Indian idly and dosa. Idly are soft and fluffy rice and lentil cakes that are a staple in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and other states. Idly can be served with sambar and chutney. Idly can also be mixed with quark, seasoned with curry leaves, mustard and chili and served cold.
