Ingredients

1 cup rice flour

1 cup kithul jaggery (grated)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup grated coconut

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

1 tbsp ghee
A pinch of salt
Directions
In a heavy-bottomed pan, roast the rice flour until it turns light brown and has a nutty aroma. Keep it aside to cool.
In another pan, melt the kithul jaggery with 1/2 cup of water over low heat. Stir continuously until it dissolves completely.
Add the grated coconut, cardamom powder, ghee, and salt to the melted jaggery mixture and mix well.
Next, add the roasted rice flour to the jaggery mixture and stir until it forms a thick dough.
Grease a plate with ghee and spread the dough evenly on it.
Allow the mixture to cool for 10–15 minutes and then cut it into desired shapes.
Serve the kithul jaggery aluva as a dessert or snack.
